CAMP ETNA

Camp Etna was founded over 149 years ago as a Spiritualist Camp Meeting, and we proudly continue that tradition today. Nestled on 27 peaceful acres in Etna, Maine, our community has long been home to gifted mediums, healers, and seekers dedicated to fostering spiritual understanding and harmony.

Our historic cottages surround a welcoming central green, and each July and August, the camp comes alive with programs, classes, and workshops open to individuals of all spiritual paths.

We invite you to slow down and enjoy the serenity of our grounds—visit the healing spaces, relax on a porch, or wander along wooded trails to Etna Pond. Whether you join a daily activity or simply take in the quiet beauty of nature, Camp Etna offers a restorative retreat for anyone seeking to reconnect spiritually in a nurturing, natural setting.

In 1876 Daniel Buswell Jr. hired a large tent and speakers for the first fall camp meeting at Camp Etna. Admission was 10 cents/day. Visit our About us page to learn our history!
